Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for Trauma
Are you struggling with the aftermath of a traumatic event? Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) might be the answer you're looking for. CPT is a specific type of cognitive-behavioural therapy designed to help you understand and change the unhelpful beliefs related to your trauma. Through CPT, you'll learn how to challenge and modify these beliefs, creating a new understanding of the traumatic event and reducing its ongoing negative impact on your life. This therapy is typically delivered over 12 sessions.
CPT can help you regain control, improve your quality of life, and find a path to healing.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) focuses on helping you identify and challenge distorted (unhelpful) thoughts, core beliefs and attitudes. CBT has been proven to be super effective for things like that pre-shift anxiety, low mood and feeling stuck. You’ll get really good at being able to identify the thought/feeling/behaviour connection and ways you can shift those thoughts.
-
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
Feeling burnt out, anxious or angry can make it so difficult for you to manage your emotions. You’ll learn to use Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) techniques to help support you in regulating emotions, manage and cope more effectively in distressing situations and maintain healthy relationships. These skills can be pretty helpful for anyone!

Goal Setting and Reactivation
Sometimes when you’re feeling burnt out or overwhelmed, it’s hard to find time to do the things you enjoy or used to enjoy. We’ll take a look at your schedule, routines/rituals and use some of that CBT to focus on setting some realistic goals and get you back to doing the things you enjoy, and feeling more like yourself.
